Returns and Refunds Policy
- Duration for Returns: Our return policy for physical products is valid for 14 days after purchase. Beyond this timeframe, we are unable to provide a full refund or exchange.
- Return Eligibility: To qualify for a return, items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in the original packaging. For automotive sensor products, the warranty seal on the box must remain intact. A receipt or proof of purchase is essential for processing your return. Please verify the return address with us before dispatching items as not all our addresses accept inbound goods.
- Return Shipping Costs: These costs fall on the buyer. Original shipping costs are non-refundable for incorrectly ordered items or change of mind.
- Exchanges: We replace items if defective or damaged during transit. Contact us at info@ecu-warehouse.eu for such exchanges.
- Exemptions from Returns: Certain goods, including all made-to-order products, digital software products, and specific services, are non-returnable. These include:5.1 Online and postal remap services once customised work is completed. 5.2 Downloadable software products due to instant digital delivery. 5.3 Unlocked and remapped ECU returns, subject to a £95 testing and restocking fee for wrong orders or customer changes of mind. 5.4 Custom-built Hybrid Turbo chargers and custom-made clutch kits are non-refundable. 5.5 Used items are ineligible for refund.
- 2-Year Warranty on Unlocked ECUs:We provide a two-year warranty from the date of purchase to the original buyer, with proof of purchase required. Faulty ECUs must be returned for testing at the customer’s expense. The warranty does not cover water or corrosion damage and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Replacement units are shipped at our cost within the main EU zone; outside this zone, the customer covers shipping costs.
- 1-Year Warranty on Hybrid Turbo Chargers: A one-year warranty is offered to the original purchaser with necessary proof. This warranty is valid only if the ECU tuning is performed by ECU Warehouse / SJL Engineering / HDI Tuning Ltd UK.
- Improper tuning by other tuning companies can affect the turbo’s functionality and cause catastrophic failure and engine damage.
- Faulty turbo chargers must be sent to our partner company in the UK for inspection at the cost of the customer. Build defects will be repaired at no extra charge, while maintenance-related faults may incur costs.
Terms and Conditions
- Important Information Regarding unlocked ECUs: An Immobiliser delete can increase theft risk and may not be legal in all countries. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify legality and inform their insurer about the fitting of an unlocked ECU.
- Tuning Software Guarantee: We assure the integrity of our tuning software but do not offer warranties on engine or clutch components. Tuning is at the customer’s own risk, and we are not liable for any resulting damages, maintenance issues, or component failures. Customers are responsible for notifying their insurance of any vehicle performance enhancements.
- Limitation of Liability for Incidental Costs: ECU Warehouse / SJL Engineering / HDI Tuning Ltd UK shall not be held liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages or costs incurred by the customer as a result of using our products. This includes, but is not limited to, mechanical repairs, additional transportation expenses, or costs for hiring a mechanic resulting from the breakdown or malfunction of a vehicle after the use of our products. Customers acknowledge that the installation and use of HDI Tuning Ltd’s products are at their own risk, and any subsequent issues that may require financial expenditure for vehicle repair, maintenance, or alternative transportation are the sole responsibility of the customer. By using our products, the customer agrees to bear all such costs and shall not hold HDI Tuning Ltd responsible for any such expenditures.
- Liability Disclaimer: ECU Warehouse / SJL Engineering / HDI Tuning Ltd UK condemn dangerous driving and are not liable for damages from irresponsible use of our products. Emission system removal for road use is not advised, and any resulting fines or penalties are the customer’s responsibility.
